  ADVENT AT ST. PETER'S
Giving Tree
Sunday, November 27th
The Giving Tree was placed in the church the first Sunday of Advent.  It was adorned with balls, which had the names of people or items in need.  This year products that are needed to pack Christmas boxes for the seamen on the river were listed on the ornaments.  We glorify Christ by removing the balls so that the tree is empty.

Christmas in the Park
Donation Booth

Wednesdays November 30th,
December 7th and 14th
Marshall County Caring Needline has a donation booth at a wonderful Christmas light display in Marshall County.  Admission to the park is canned goods or a monetary donation.  Volunteers are needed to work the booth each evening from Thanksgiving to New Years.  For many years now, St. Peter's has allocated several nights to this cause.

Annual Church Meeting
Sunday, December 4th
Following service once each year we gather to hear reports on the churches' finances, projects, outreach and much more.  It is a time for all to feel involved in the life of St. Peter's.  New vestry members are also elected at this time.

Santa Pavillion
Friday, December 9th
Saturday, December 10th
While driving through the beautiful display of Christmas lights, families have the opportunity to visit and have their pictures made with Santa and Mrs. Claus.  St. Peter's always signs up to do their part in making sure that the jolly old fellow is there one weekend every year.
Thanks Larry & Becky!

Annual Christmas Charity Party
Sunday, December 11th
Each year, parishioners Doug and Sally Moore open their home to family and friends.  An afternoon of viewing their beautiful decorations, great food and fellowship is had by all.  It is most importantly a time to remember those less fortunate than us.  Admission to the Open House for those that are able is a toy or item (value-$10.00) to be donated to needy families within the county.
